FAL-E-HAFEZ 33 (back)

$300.00

Limited Edition Print

One of 12 selected paintings from the Fal-e-Hafez series, to reimagine the Persian tradition of Fal-e-Hafez—a divination practice banned post-1979 Iranian Revolution for its suggestive themes. These painted poetries, adorned with tulips and semi-nude figures, become love letters to women resisting male hypocrisies globally, echoing the Woman-Life-Freedom movement. These cards are kept close to my heart as one of the few items that my mother brought with her as she fled Iran before the 1979 Revolution. These cards offer blessings of hope, life, and a brighter future—something that I feel we all need and deserve to experience.
